How to get from Montreal Airport to Downtown

Montreal-Trudeau Airport is located in Dorval, about 20 kilometers west of the city center. The port is well connected to the metropolis, so getting to Montreal is quick and easy.

How to get from the airport to the center

Bus

The easiest way to get from the airport to Montreal is to use the city bus. The bus stop is located at the exit of the arrivals hall.

Route. Bus number 747 leaves every 25 minutes. Goes to the Berri-UQAM metro station, where 3 of the 4 metro lines intersect.

Time. The trip can take from 45 to 70 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. The bus runs around the clock.

Price. Tickets can be purchased at a special machine at the airport or directly on the bus. The price of the trip is 10 CAD.

Important! In the case of buying a ticket on the bus, only coins are accepted.

Bus + metro

In order to avoid traffic jams or reach more remote areas of Montreal, you can choose a travel option with a transfer.

Route. Get off bus number 747 at the first stop – Lionel-Groulx (after about 25-35 minutes of driving) and change to the orange or green metro line, see metro map . Stop in the center – Berri-UQAM.
