Hygiene Standards
- Chauffeurs should, as a minimum, check for a fever each day before working. Any chauffeur displaying symptoms of coronavirus may not provide services and should submit themselves in accordance with local testing, quarantine or isolation requirements
- All vehicles must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before use. This can be done daily using commercially available alcohol (70%) or disinfectant products (i.e. Virex II 256, Vital Oxide, Lysol/Clorox Wipes) certified effective against 99.9% virus contamination. In addition, you may use a professional electrostatic cleaning solution applied by a qualified contractor in accordance with their instructions on cleaning, use and frequency
- All vehicles are to be sanitized after each ride with all customer-facing surfaces cleaned using alcohol (70%), disinfectant or the approved electrostatic solution
- Personal hand sanitization products to be available for passenger and chauffeur use
- All chauffeurs to wear PROFESSIONALLY made face coverings 2
- All passengers to wear face covering, and we must provide one if they do not have one available
- Chauffeurs may wear gloves, but these are not compulsory and must be disposed of after each use
- Where possible, passengers should handle their own luggage. Where this is not possible, or the passenger specifically requests assistance with luggage, the chauffeur may handle luggage. Disposable gloves may be worn and immediately disposed of. Alternatively, the chauffeurs can handle the luggage without wearing gloves, but then must immediately sanitize their hands
- No amenities, including newspaper, bottled water, mints and other candies or magazines should be available
- Vehicle air conditioning, if used, must be set to outside air, never recirculate
- A window should be cracked open to allow fresh air circulation
- No passenger should sit in the front seat
Revised Maximum Vehicle Capacity:
To allow for appropriate and safe social distancing, we will apply a temporary reduction in seating capacity for each vehicle type:
- Executive Sedan/Luxury Sedan: 2 Passenger (sitting in the back of the vehicle)
- SUV: 2-4 Passengers – make use of the seating configuration to maximize distance between each passenger and the chauffeur
- Van: 10 Passengers – make use of the seating configuration to maximize distance between each passenger and the chauffeur
- Mini-bus: 11-16 Passengers – make use of the seating configuration to maximize distance between each passenger and the chauffeur
