25 Montreal Restaurants Featured on the Famous List of Canada's Best Restaurants

The next list of Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants (100 best restaurants in Canada) for 2020 has just been published.

Canada’s 100 Best Restaurant rating, published by the magazine and website of the same name, is considered the most significant in the restaurant business. Restaurants are selected based on the recommendations of 103 jury members, each of whom presents their own list of the 10 best dinners in 2019.

Montreal restaurants have always been at the top of this list. In 2015 and 2016, our restaurant Toqué took first place. This year it has dropped to 6th place and is no longer even the best restaurant in Montreal. He was again outpaced by the famous Joe Beef in the city, who took third place in Canada. The list is headed by Toronto’s Alo and Vancouver’s St.Lawrence (first and second respectively).

After a long break, many of the best restaurants in the city are ready to open their halls not only for elite customers. For example, the well-known Boxotel, a small cozy bar, now offers excellent takeaway pizza.

The Pastaga restaurant temporarily serves the “Bistro Pastaga” formula and offers dishes created from the same ingredients, with the same care and love as before, but less complex. The haute cuisine Europea restaurant has completely changed its menu. It used to be a place where you could spend an evening enjoying a $250 12-course menu. Now celebrity chef Jerome Ferrer has developed a completely new concept. The restaurant has turned into a gourmet amusement park: a 5-course menu for $50 for an adult and $25 for a child will allow visitors to get real gastronomic pleasure.
